Record your Meet.
Get the transcript, summary,
and answers
you'll actually use.

MeetKB lives in the Google Meet side panel. Record locally, stream a live transcript with speaker names attached automatically, watch a rolling summary and follow-ups update as the call unfolds, and answer questions against the knowledge bases your team uploads — all without leaving the call.

Anonymous mode records locally — nothing leaves your device. Sign in to unlock transcripts, summaries, and Q&A.

What it does

Everything from a single side panel

Capture, transcribe, summarize, and Q&A — designed so you stay in the meeting instead of switching tabs to take notes.

One-click recording

Captures your Meet tab as a local .webm file with a .vtt caption sidecar. Anonymous mode records locally only — zero server contact.

📝

Live transcript with speakers

See who said what, the moment they say it. Every line in the live transcript carries the speaker's name. Saved alongside the recording as .vtt and .txt.

Auto-detected questions

Every question asked during the call is surfaced in real time with priority tiers. Tap Ask to answer it from your KB without losing the meeting context.

🧠

KB-grounded Q&A

Upload .txt / .md / .pdf / .docx or crawl a docs site. Ask anything — MeetKB retrieves the relevant chunks and synthesizes an answer with sources.

Live Insights tab

Three cards that update as the conversation moves: a running summary of what's been said so far, a list of smart follow-ups to drive the call forward, and action items with the person who should own them. One click on a follow-up sends it through your knowledge base.

📋

Summary + action items

On Stop, MeetKB generates a structured recap — overview, decisions, open questions, bottom line — plus concrete action items with the person who should own each one. No hallucinated commitments.

👍

Rate any answer

A quick 👍 or 👎 sits next to every AI-generated answer, summary, action item, and detected question. Tap to tell us what worked and what didn't — your feedback shapes the assistant for next time.

🕘

History & share links

Last 20 meetings per user with transcript, Q&A threads, action items, and summary — pin the ones that matter to keep them past the cap. One-click public read-only share link per meeting; recipient needs no sign-in, revoke is instant.

How it works

From install to answer in under a minute

Your admin sets up the knowledge bases and provider keys once. You record meetings and ask questions.

01

Install

Add MeetKB to Chrome and pin the side panel. The extension is signed and pinned to a single host.

02

Use Google or email + password. Your admin grants you access to the team's knowledge bases.

03

Open Meet

Join your call as usual and open the MeetKB side panel from Chrome's toolbar. Controls, live transcript, and the Q&A tabs are right there — no app switch needed.

04

Record & ask

Click Start Recording. Watch the transcript stream. Switch to Q&A to answer detected questions from your KB.

05

Get your recap

On Stop, MeetKB writes a structured summary, action items with owners, and a clean transcript to your meeting history — ready to share with anyone who missed the call.

Built with privacy in mind

Your meetings stay your meetings

We designed MeetKB so the sensitive bits never have to leave your machine, and what does leave is yours to delete.

No server-side audio

The recorded .webm is saved to your downloads folder only. The MeetKB server has no audio storage — never did, never will.

Encrypted provider keys

Groq, Deepgram, and Ollama Cloud API keys are encrypted with Fernet at rest. Never returned to the browser in plaintext.

Anonymous tier

Don't want to sign in? Record locally only — no server contact, no telemetry, no account.
